Woodinville Fire & Rescue now has three new fire engines to protect the community. The previous engines were nearing the end of their service life and ready to be replaced. Those who attended the annual pancake breakfast and Celebrate Woodinville parade on August 19 got a first glimpse of the new engines. At the time of the parade, the engines were still in the process of final adjustments and being outfitted with equipment. Now, all three engines are in service and responding to emergencies at each of the District’s three fire stations. The fire engines were built by Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisc. The entire process of building the engines took a little over a year.
