A woman was injured in a two-alarm fire at a vacant building Wednesday morning on Capitol Hill, emergency officials said.
Firefighters responded to the scene, at East Olive Way and East Denny Way, at about 8:30 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke spewing from the building. A second alarm was later sounded.
The cause of the fire couldn't be determined. It caused $500,000 in damage.
There were unconfirmed reports that transients evacuated the building as fire crews arrived.
