Firefighters responded to a semi-truck fire on U.S. 97, Blewett Pass Thursday evening. Crews from Chelan Co. Fire Districts 3 and 6 were called to the scene near milepost 169. When they arrived, the semi truck and trailer were engulfed in flames. No word yet what caused the semi and trailer to catch fire, but another small fire could also be seen across the road. The State Department of Transportation said both north and southbound drivers should expect delays as crews cleanup and clear the scene.
