A fire broke out briefly on the rooftop of the TraVigne on Eleventh Avenue, an apartment building, Wednesday afternoon.
The Seattle Fire Department was dispatched to the building at 3:57 p.m. and had extinguished the fire by 4:24 p.m. according to Kristin Tinsley, a spokesperson for the Seattle Fire Department. Tinsley said that the fire was contained to the roof and an elevator control room attached to the roof, and that no living areas were affected. There are no reported injuries.
Witnesses on the scene reported seeing billowing smoke and flames coming from the building roof.
