A fire in a Kent apartment building Thursday displaced six people, emergency officials said.
Crews responded to the scene, an apartment building in the 10600 block of Southeast 264th Street, about 9 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke and flames there.
Firefighters found that flames had engulfed the two-story apartment building. No one was inside any of the apartments.
Four apartments were damaged.
The cause of the fire is undetermined but the fire appears to be accidental, officials said.
