Arson investigators are trying to determine who tried to set fire to a bank in Poulsbo Thursday morning. Officers received a call around 7:30 a.m. stating there was smoke coming from behind the Kitsap Bank on 7th Avenue, according to Chief Dan Schoonmaker with Poulsbo Police. Firefighters and officers arrived to find a smoking device and it was quickly extinguished. "Fire department found couple of devices similar to a Molotov Cocktail -- one up on a patio cover; and one up against the building," Schoonmaker said. "We suspected initially that it was arson related, so our detectives responded along with the Kitsap County fire marshal."
