A fire completely destroyed an agricultural storage building in East Pasco this morning. Officials say that the fire burned a Balcom and Moe storage building just off of Highway 12 near Pasco Kahlotus Road (also known as PK Highway). Pasco Police say that the building only contained potatoes. The storage facility completely collapsed and is a total loss. Officials say the safest thing to do was let the fire burn itself out. Firefighters will continue to monitor the fire to prevent it from spreading this morning. So far, officials have not reported any injuries, and firefighters believe no one was inside the building during the fire.
