No one has been hurt after a home caught fire on North 1st Street. The Yakima Fire Department (YFD) received calls of smoke in the 1500 block of N. 1st Street around 4:15 p.m., Wednesday. After firefighters and officers with the Yakima Police Department arrived, reports said they found smoke coming from an unoccupied mobile home at 1603 N. 1st Street. Firefighters went inside and extinguished flames that were burning at the middle of the house. Crews also searched to make sure everyone made it out of the mobile home safely. All residents were not home at the time of the fire and no one was injured in this incident, according to reports.
