One person was found dead during a fire at a Tacoma apartment building early Tuesday morning. The fire broke out in the Spanish Hills Apartments on S. Whitman Street just after 1 a.m., Tacoma Fire officials said. Firefighters found the body during a search of the apartment. No one else was hurt.
