A woman stuck on the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula was rescued from Foulweather Bluff on Tuesday. The 33-year--old woman, who was visiting from the United Kingdom, was running along the beach. She tried to escape rising waters and became stuck on the steep muddy hillside below the bluff, North Kitsap Fire & Rescue reported. She was seen from atop a 300-foot cliff. She was on a flat spot about one-third of the distance to the beach. Other agencies were called in to help. A firefighter on a rescue boat was able to climb up and bring her down. She was cold but uninjured.
