One person was killed in a fire at a condo complex in Bellevue Wednesday night, according to Bellevue Fire. Firefighters were called to the complex in the 3400 block of 161st Court E. just after 7:30 p.m. The call was initially reported as an appliance fire. When crews arrived the found white smoke coming from a dryer in one unit, then discovered the fire was actually in the duct work. Firefighters then found heavy smoke in an adjacent unit. They quickly knocked down the flames and discovered one deceased victim inside while searching the unit. The fire was contained to the single unit. Investigators are still trying to determine how and where the fire started.
