Crews battled a two-story house fire Sunday morning that sent plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen throughout Renton.
One person was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after suffering burns, firefighters told KOMO News.
It is unclear on what caused the fire. About eight people were reportedly living at the home at 13265 89th Ave. S.., firefighters said. The home was vacant, though people did live there.
Because many of the people who lived there fled, it's unclear if anyone is missing, police said.
Police did detain two people who came back to the house and interviewed them. But police said there isn't enough evidence to seek charges against them.
