Fire and rescue crews rescued a man trapped in a well Tuesday evening. The well was located inside a home in Port Orchard. Crews responded to the residence on Garfield Avenue SE around 5 p.m. Rescuers lifted the person out of the well shortly before 6 p.m. and transported him to a nearby hospital, according to South Kitsap Fire & Rescue.
