Three people were able to escape a home after waking up to smoke Thursday morning. One person was treated on scene and transported to the hospital as a precaution. Two others escaped uninjured. Firefighters are still on scene working to put out a fire on Crosby Road. They said they are using a defense tactics because multiple rounds of ammunition was going off when they arrived. Firefighters added that a powerline behind the home fell down and was live when they arrived. They were able to secure the line. None of the firefighter were reported injured. Officials said the fire did damage some cars parked near the home. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
