Restaurant in Kent catches fire

The Country Burger & Teriyaki restaurant in Kent caught fire early Thursday morning, but nobody was hurt and firefighters were able to get it under control. According to Puget Sound Fire, crews arrived at the restaurant at 1605 W. Meeker St. at about 3:45 a.m. to find smoke and flames in the back part of the restaurant. The seating area is in the front of the restaurant while the kitchen area is in the back. Flames were both on the interior and exterior of the building. Investigators will look into what caused the fire and where it originated.
