Two firefighters were hospitalized after fighting a house fire in North Seattle Wednesday night. The fire broke out just before 5:30 p.m. at a home on NE 94th Street. Seattle Fire said one firefighter fell through the roof and into the attic of the home. He was able to exit the home on his own and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. A second firefighter was also taken to Harborview, but Seattle Fire said it was only as a precaution. That firefighter as said to be in stable condition. Everyone inside the home was able to make it out safely.
