3 people are now safe this morning, after firefighters put out a house fire in Kennewick. Early this morning, fire crews responded to reports of a house fire on the corner of Nevada St. and Yellowstone Ave. The 3 adults were inside at the time of the blaze, and officials say they all got out without any injuries. Firefighters will continue to mop up the home for the rest of the morning to put out any hot spots. Police say that it appears the fire started in the back corner of the home's patio area. They say there is a fire pit back there.
