Clallam County Fire District No. 2 Deputy Chief Jake Patterson walks to the scene of a house fire at 1615 S. Owen Ave., in Port Angeles that did heavy damage to the structure Thursday. Fire District No. 2 was giving assistance to the Port Angeles Fire Department, which was investigating the blaze. Assistant Fire Chief Keith Bogues said no one was home at the time and no one was injured.
