A Port Hadlock man was left homeless after an early Thursday morning fire destroyed his home in the 3700 block of Oak Bay Rd. There were no injuries, according to a news release from East Jefferson Fire Rescue. The victim’s name was not readily available. EJFR was toned to the fire at 5:08 a.m. after the man returned from a quick trip to the grocery store and found his home fully engulfed in flames. He then called 9-1-1 from his mobile phone.
