A family of five died when a rental cabin in Brinnon, Washington exploded Sunday morning.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's office said neighbors called 911 about 1 a.m. after hearing an explosion and seeing a large fire.
During their investigation, firefighters initially found two people. Hours later, they discovered three additional bodies inside what was left of the cabin.
Investigators believe the victims are a family of five including three children and parents.
At this point, investigators do not suspect foul play. The cause and origin of the fire remains unknown and may take several weeks to determine, the Brinnon Fire Department said.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office sought help from the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
No names were released, pending notification of relatives.
