A fire damaged a Kent home and sent thick plumes of smoke over the surrounding neighborhood Monday morning. Crews responded to the scene, a home in the 11100 block of SE 204th Street, at about 9:15 a.m. after receiving reports of heavy smoke billowing from the single-story home. Firefighters attacked the blaze, but damage appeared to be extensive. It's believed that all occupants made it out of the home. One person was treated by medics at the scene.
