Crews work to secure leaning scaffolding on downtown Seattle building

Crews worked to secure a tall section of leaning scaffolding that somehow broke loose from the side of a building under construction in downtown Seattle Monday evening. Seattle Police and Seattle Fire were called to the scene at Howell Street and Minor Ave. just before 5 p.m. The scaffolding could be seen slightly leaning away from the building. Seattle Fire said no one was injured.Fire fighters and construction workers, along with a crane operator are worked to support the scaffolding and prevent it from falling. Seattle Police blocked off the two left lanes of Howell St. between Minor Ave. and Yale Ave. They also blocked off Minor Ave. at Stewart Street.
