A man suffered burn injuries early Thursday after fire broke out in a semi trailer that had been converted into sleeping quarters, emergency officials said. Firefighters responded to the scene, in the 800 block of Butte Avenue SE, at about 5:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a trailer fire. A man was found at the scene with first- and second-degree burns. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said Valley Regional Fire officials. Ads by ZINC Officials said the man evidently was inside the semi trailer when the blaze broke out. The interior of the trailer had been rigged up with furniture and bedding. It was completely destroyed by the flames.
