Police are searching for a burglar that stole a vast array of life-saving equipment from a Montesano Fire station Tuesday morning.
Firefighters arrived at Brady station on Fire Station Road around 9 a.m. to respond to an emergency medical incident in the town, only to find their station had been burglarized, according to Fire Chief Leonard Johnson with Grays Harbor Fire District No. 2.
Grays Harbor County Sheriff's deputies arrived to find the burglar had forced his way in via an outside door and several essential equipment had been stolen.
Among the items taken included multiple rescue saws, portable radios, an automatic external defibrillator, a thermal imaging camera, batteries and battery chargers for medical equipment, and tools.
