Benton County Fire District #1 will greet some of their firefighters coming home from California on Monday. The Washington Strike Team 2 was demobilized on Sunday, allowing them to head back home. Firefighters started their journey to California on November 10. They were assigned to the deadly Woolsey Fire. Among the firefighters were crew members from Walla Walla districts 4 and 8, College Place Fire and Steven County District #1. A total of five engines were sent to California.
