A little over a month after two members of the Edelbrock family died in a motorhome crash on Interstate 90, the family was reunited with emergency responders on scene that day. First responders with Kittitas County Fire District 7 and Upper Kittitas County Medic One met with the Edelbrock family this week at the request of the family to meet the responders who had transported family members in the Sept. 4 crash in Ellensburg. Fire District 7 officials say the family wanted to meet to express their gratitude and provide an update on the family’s progress. State troopers previously said the motorhome was heading west on I-90 when a blown tire caused 62-year-old Michael Edelbrock to lose control of the vehicle. The motorhome went off the highway, crashed through a guardrail, down an embankment and came to rest in a creek.
