A fire in Galvin Monday engulfed a travel trailer and spread to surrounding structures, leaving behind some significant damage but no injuries.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to a press release from the Riverside Fire Authority.
Riverside Fire Authority personnel were dispatched at 5:03 p.m. to the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue in Galvin for a travel trailer on fire. The fire was reported to be growing quickly and spreading to nearby vehicles and structures.
On arrival, firefighters noted that the trailer was equipped with propane tanks, and completely engulfed in flame. Two adjacent outbuildings and a motor home were also on fire. Other nearby structures were in danger of being consumed in the flames.
“Quick action of the first fire crews contained the fire to the area already damaged by the fire prior to their arrival,” reads the press release.
