About 15 acres burned in a Tuesday evening fire about eight miles southeast of Quincy. Grant County Fire District 3 responded about 5:30 p.m. to the outside fire along Adams Road and Road 6 Southwest, started at a crop circle corner on private property. Michele Talley with fire district 3 said the blaze spread into brush and olive trees. “I had huge flames when I hit Road 3 coming off of Adams,” Talley said on scene. “It was actually moving pretty good for not being a wind-driven fire.” No structures were damaged and no injuries reported. Talley said the fire did not cause any damage to nearby crops. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. Grant County Fire District 10 provided mutual aid.
