The Pulaski Tri-County Fire Department was called out for an early morning fire that killed dozens of animals. Fire chief James Styczynski tells Local Five the fire was called in around 5:30 Sunday morning at a farmette in the Town of Chase. The fire was in a pole shed containing equipment and animals. Chief Styczynski estimates 40 sheep perished in the fire. They were able to rescue some sheep and goats.
