VIDEO: Local firefighters 311 and the Madison Professional Police Officers Association are holding a black tie ball to raise money for the community. WKOW is a sponsor of the second annual Madison Area Police and Fire Charity Ball held Saturday night. 27 News anchor Amber Noggle was emcee. Firefighters say they like hosting the ball because it shows unity between the police and fire departments. "It's police officers, firefighters coming together to do good in the community off duty," says Mahlon Mitchell, president of the firefighters union.
