VIDEO: Firefighters spent a few hours battling a fire at a downtown Evansville business late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The Evansville Fire Department was called to Night Owl Food and Spirits around 10:00 p.m. They needed help from more than a dozen other agencies. There were no injuries in the fire, but it took about three hours for fire crews to put the fire out. Firefighters don't know what caused the fire, but they believe it started in the basement. Investigators at the scene tell 27 News the building is about 100 years old and is connected to other buildings. No word on when Night Owl will open for business again.
