The Real McCoy's tavern was destroyed in an early Tuesday morning fire.
“It is a total loss,” Whitewater Fire Chief Don Gregoire said.
Damage is estimated at $400,000 damage, he said.
When Walworth County sheriff's deputies arrived at the tavern, W8632 County A, they found flames shooting out of the windows of the 2,000-square-foot establishment, he said.
By the time firefighters arrived, the one-story structure was fully engulfed, Gregoire said.
The pub and grill was closed at the time the fire, which was reported at 2:52 a.m. by the business alarm company.
