About 30 residents had to be evacuated early Sunday morning because of a fire at an apartment complex. Denmark Fire Chief Dave Bielinski said the entire building in the 300 block of Danish Way was evacuated after crews responded shortly after 4 a.m. to a fire that started in the kitchen area of one of the apartment units. The Brown County Sheriff's Office said the fire caused major damage to that apartment and two other units.
