Onalaska home's roof catches fire on Labor Day

VIDEO: Some local firefighters spent part of their Labor Day fighting a house fire in Onalaska. The fire broke out around 1:00 p.m. Sept., 5, at 2440 Thomas Court in Onalaska. Firefighters from La Crosse and the Town of Campbell assisted to put out the roof fire, that spread to the house's deck. They spent about an hour at the scene. Water and smoke caused the most damage to the home. A firefighter was injured in the fire, but the injuries were not severe, and no hospital treatment was needed.There were no other injuries reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
