VIDEO: Fire officials say four buildings and a vehicle were destroyed in a fire that started in a barn in Dane County. The DeForest Fire Chief tells our Madison affiliate 27 News the fire started around 7 p.m. in a barn at a home on Patton Road in the town of Vienna. It then spread to three other buildings, including a garage, where a vehicle was parked. Fire crews from nearly a dozen agencies were called to assist DeForest in putting out the fire. As of 10 p.m., roads near the scene remain closed and some Dane County deputies and fire crews were still at the scene, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office. No one was hurt and everyone was evacuated from the home nearby. The Salvation Army is assisting.
