VIDEO: Manitowoc fire crews were called to the scene of a garage fire in the 700 block of N. 5th St. in Manitowoc just before 2 o'clock Monday morning. Two Rivers Fire Department was also called in to assist. There were no injuries in the fire though the homeowners did need to evacuate their home for a short period of time. Once fire crews got inside, heavy fire was noted inside the garage. The fire was out and crews were leaving the scene at about 4:45 Monday morning. Firefighters say although there were no injuries the garage is likely a total loss. Firefighters say they don't know what caused the fire, but they do plan to bring crews in later to investigate.
