VIDEO: The third annual Battle of the Badges softball tournament was held at Sunnyvale Park in Wausau on Saturday. Local police and fire departments battled it out to see who was king of the diamond. "Everybody is here to have fun but obviously there is a little competition involved," said Organizer Ted Knoeck. "This not only gets us together to have a good time, but it also gets us together to raise some money for a great organization." Before the tournament kicked off, the family of fallen Colby Firefighter Jamison Kampmeyer was honored by the local departments. Kampmeyer died fighting a fire in Abbotsford back in 2012. Kampmeyer was also a sheriff's deputy.
