Three fire departments were called to fight a fire at a catering business in Bellevue on Monday. They were dispatched at 2:45 p.m. Monday to Biebel’s, 1234 Bellevue Street, where firefighters found light smoke coming from a utility/wash room. Crews found the fire in a bin of towels. They removed the towels from the building and put out the flames in the parking lot. Firefighters then cleared the smoke from the building using ventilation fans. Firefighters were on scene for one hour. No one was hurt. People were evacuated when the fire was first reported. The catering business was able to stay open after the fire was put out. Damage was limited to the towels that were in the bin.
