Fire simulation held in Chippewa Falls

VIDEO: Flames were flying at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds on Monday. It was all part of a training session over three years in the making. The Wisconsin Propane Education and Research Council teamed up with the Chippewa Falls Fire District, as well as some other local fire department, to hold a special training session. Firefighters practiced four different emergencies involving propane. The Chippewa Falls Fire District first reached out to host the training session three years ago and says the wait was worth it because of the valuable experience gained Monday night. "With LP or propane, it's a very dangerous situation because it is flammable and it does explode. So you need to know what you're doing when you're handling this type of situation.
