The Black River Falls Fire Department received a new fire truck Thursday.
According to Fire Chief Steve Schreiber the new truck will replace the 1993 freightliner. He says it cost $489,000 and the department was able to raise $198,000 through fundraisers and grants.
Schreiber says the rest of the money came from taxpayers, the Rural Fire Department, and EMS.
