VIDEO: A Saturday night fire in a portion of the Peck School of the Arts on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus caused an estimated $1 million in damage and prompted officials to cancel classes in the art, music and theater buildings for both Monday and Tuesday. Crews were called to the complex on the 2400 block of East Kenwood Boulevard at about 10 p.m. Saturday after a fire started behind the stage, in the area used to construct props and sets. It took firefighters nearly an hour to knock down the fire completely.
