The La Crosse Common Council heard recommendations on improvements to and rebuilding of the four existing fire stations and a possible new fifth station Tuesday night from the design team Five Bugles during the council’s planning meeting. Owner and principal Steve Gausman and senior emergency services specialist Ed Mishefske with Five Bugles, a design company with Architectural Design Group in Eau Claire, Wis., that primarily focuses on emergency response buildings.
