A Wisconsin State Patrol officer was killed early Tuesday near Wisconsin Dells when his patrol car crashed on Interstate 90/94 near mile marker 89. The trooper was identified late Tuesday morning as Anthony J. Borostowski of Tomah. Borostowski reportedly lost control of his patrol car and it veered off the highway into a ditch, hitting a nearby tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Dells-Delton EMS and the Lake Delton Fire Department were dispatched first to the scene.
