An autopsy completed Wednesday came back inconclusive in identifying human remains found inside a shed that caught fire Monday morning, Jefferson County officials said. Human remains were found inside a shed that caught fire in the town of Ixonia, but officials are working on additional DNA testing to identify the body, according to a release. The state fire marshal was called Monday to two fires on the same property, according to the release. Firefighters were called at 6:16 a.m. to W2355 Northside Road on a report of a structure fire. When they arrived, they found a shed and a residence were both on fire.
