No injuries in early morning fire in La Crosse

Investigators with the La Crosse Fire Department are looking into a house fire early Thursday morning. The call came in at around 3:30 a.m. about a fire in the attic of a home on the 400 block of 12th Street North. Firefighters tell News 8 three people and two pets made it out of the house safely. The building owner and the Red Cross were at the scene to help displaced residents. There is extensive fire, smoke and water damage to the building. Temperatures were in the single digits early Thursday morning.
