Four homeless after truck fire ignites Green Bay duplex

Four people are homeless following an early Monday morning duplex fire. Firefighters received a call at 4:25 a.m. for the fire at 1719 Beech Tree Drive, according to a Green Bay Metro Fire Department news release. The fire started when a truck in the driveway burst into flames. It quickly spread to the duplex and into both attics, partially collapsing the roof. There were no injuries, but four people are homeless. Two people are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
