A De Pere family is forced from their home Tuesday morning after an overnight house fire. Just before 2 .m., De Pere Fire Rescue was called to a home on Vista Circle when the homeowner found a fire in their basement. The homeowner put out part of the fire with his own fire extinguisher before fire crews arrived. When they arrived on scene and entered the home, firefighters were able to put it out quickly. No one was hurt, and the family living there is staying with neighbors.
