Racine firefighters spent more than three hours early Wednesday battling a stubborn fire in a garage at a car dealership. The fire was reported at about 1 a.m. Wednesday at Auto Hut of Wisconsin, 1620 Racine St., and no one was in the building at the time, according to the Racine Fire Department. Fire Department Lt. Michael Moss said the fire most likely started inside a car that was parked inside of the garage. He added it does not seem like the fire was started intentionally, but the investigation was ongoing as of Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $18,000, including the car.
