‘Careless use of fireworks' blamed for playground fire at YMCA in Beloit

The Beloit fire department is investigating a late night fire Tuesday at the Stateline YMCA building. The fire chief posted on Facebook that the fire was contained quickly and that no one was hurt. Damage was limited to the exterior of the building and some playground equipment. The Stateline YMCA is set to open a new downtown location next month.
