The driver of a street sweeper was injured early Monday morning when the large vehicle tipped on its side, according to a release from the Madison Fire Department. Firefighters were called at 3:51 a.m. to South Stoughton Road and Buckeye Road after multiple reports of a large vehicle tipped over with the driver trapped inside. Crews used an axe to chop around the edge of the windshield and remove it, freeing the driver. He was taken to a local hospital.
